MicroGreens are not Sprouts

MicroGreens are tasty micro plants. We grows ours from GMO and/or organic seed stock. They are grown until the first true leaves develop.
Sprouts are grown in just water and are composed of the roots, stem, and underdeveloped leaves, usually taking a few days to produce.  Sprouts are germinated seeds and grown in water which can be subject to waterborne pathogens. Microgreens are something much different they are not grown in water but in fresh air.

Sprouts are grown in water and without light. They are harvested before true leaves appear and include the whole plant including the roots.
Micro-greens are grown in the light and are not harvested until the real leaves are formed. They can be delivered in the growing medium keeping the plants fresh for many days.
